Terms and conditions
These terms set out the agreement between Microcart and the customer using the platform. Version: 26 October 2026. You can save or print this page for your records.
1. Who we are and when these terms apply
Microcart is based at Kubus 100, 3364 DG Sliedrecht, the Netherlands, and registered with the Dutch Chamber of Commerce under number 58509356. Contact us at info@microcart.io.
Microcart is a platform for businesses to manage their online stores. These terms apply to use of the platform and related services where they have been provided to you before or when the agreement is made. Separately agreed written terms take precedence in a conflict. Mandatory legal rights always remain applicable.
2. The service and your account
During your agreement, you receive access to the agreed platform functions for your selected store or stores. Your selected package description and written confirmation determine what you purchase. The package includes the Microcart apps and B2B functions. Usage limits can apply, including to AI functions; everything included does not mean unlimited use of every function.
Keep account and billing details accurate. Anyone registering for a business must be authorised to do so. Protect login details, give staff appropriate access only and report suspected misuse promptly. You are responsible for actions by people to whom you grant access.
3. Trial and starting a paid subscription
New customers can try the platform for 14 days without a payment card. A trial account alone is not an instruction to start a paid subscription. For paid use, select a subscription and complete the payment procedure offered for it.
When a trial ends without an active paid subscription, access to your store and management functions may be restricted. Save important data in time and contact us if you need help exporting it. Your account shows the end date and available next steps.
4. Prices and payment
The standard price is €39.95 per store per month or €399.50 per store per year, excluding VAT. The price, number of stores, selected billing period and applicable taxes are established when you order. A separately agreed offer may differ.
Microcart charges no transaction surcharge of its own on orders in your store. Payment providers, carriers, domains and other external services may have separate charges. Payment processing for your Microcart subscription is separate from the payment provider you use for your own customers.
Pay the agreed amounts through the payment method offered. Report an incorrect invoice to info@microcart.io, including the invoice details and your explanation. If a payment fails, we will inform you about resolving it; before restricting access for that reason, we will give you a reasonable opportunity to pay.
5. Term, renewal and cancellation
You choose a monthly or annual subscription. Your order information, confirmation and billing overview specify the start date, billing period and next renewal date. A recurring subscription renews on that basis only where this was clearly disclosed and agreed when you subscribed.
You can cancel through Settings › Billing and the subscription management function offered there. If this fails or you cannot log in, email your cancellation to info@microcart.io, identifying your store and account email address. We will confirm the termination date. Cancellation before the next renewal stops the next subscription period; the period already paid for remains available unless you have a right to terminate earlier.
Cancellation, termination for breach and any statutory withdrawal period are different rights. These terms do not exclude legal rights to termination, a remedy or repayment. If you have acted as a consumer, the withdrawal and renewal rules applicable to you also remain in force.
6. Your store and your customers
You manage your own products, prices, taxes, inventory, delivery and customer communications. You are the seller to your customers and are responsible for the information and obligations associated with your sales, including product safety, returns and privacy.
Check settings, imported data and published content before selling with them. Do not use the service for unlawful products, deception, infringement, malware or bypassing security or usage limits. Assess whether an integration suits your circumstances before enabling it.
7. Your content and our software
You retain the rights you hold in your product data, text, images and other content of your own. You grant Microcart only the permission needed to store, process, display and publish that content for your use of the service. Ensure that you hold the necessary rights and permissions.
Rights in the Microcart software and its own materials remain with Microcart or the relevant rights holders. You receive a right of use for the duration and purpose of the agreement. Third-party rights and licence terms for external materials continue to apply. AI output may resemble existing content; check facts and usage rights before publication.
8. Availability, security and support
We perform the service with reasonable care and take appropriate security measures. Maintenance, incidents and dependencies on external services can affect availability. A specific availability or response-time guarantee applies only if separately agreed in writing.
Report incidents and security issues to info@microcart.io with enough information to investigate, but without passwords or unnecessary personal data. We investigate reports and communicate about next steps. Also keep your own copies of important data for your business records.
9. Personal data and confidential information
Both parties must comply with applicable data protection law. For your store customers' personal data, you generally determine why the data is used. Where Microcart processes that data on your behalf, written arrangements complying with Article 28 GDPR must be made before that processing. Contact info@microcart.io for this purpose.
These terms do not replace a data processing agreement. The privacy notice about cookies and measurement on our marketing website is not a data processing agreement for your store either. Do not share special-category or other sensitive personal data without establishing that the service and arrangements are suitable. Both parties treat non-public business information received during their cooperation as confidential.
10. External services and AI
Connected services may be subject to separate terms, charges and privacy arrangements from the relevant supplier. You choose which integrations to enable. Microcart remains responsible for its own agreed work; using an external supplier does not automatically remove that responsibility.
AI, analytics and recommendations support your work. They can contain errors and do not guarantee revenue, conversions, search rankings or other results. Review the output before using it and consult a specialist where needed.
11. Problems, misuse and liability
If the service does not meet the agreement, report the issue with a specific description. Give us a reasonable opportunity to investigate and remedy it, except where the law does not require this. We will seek an appropriate solution. Liability and rights to remedies, damages or termination are governed by the agreement and applicable law; these terms contain no blanket exclusion of liability.
Where there is a real security risk, unlawful use or serious breach, we may proportionately restrict the affected access or function. Where possible, we notify you in advance and allow an opportunity to remedy the issue. If immediate action is necessary, we explain the measure as soon as possible. We limit it to what is reasonably necessary.
12. After termination
Your right to use the service ends when the agreement ends. Before the end date, arrange continuity for your store and save the data you need. Ask for help in time if an export does not work.
Ending a subscription does not mean all data immediately disappears or remains available indefinitely. Return, deletion and any retention obligations are governed by applicable law and the written arrangements for the data concerned. Records subject to statutory retention may be kept longer.
13. Changes, complaints and governing law
We may develop the platform and amend terms for a reasonable cause, such as changes in law, security or the service. Changes to agreed prices or material terms will be sent directly to you in advance, including their substance, reason and effective date. They do not apply retroactively. For a change materially adverse to your existing agreement, we offer a reasonable opportunity to terminate before it takes effect, unless the law provides otherwise.
Send complaints and questions to info@microcart.io. Identify your store, the relevant facts and the solution you seek. Dutch law governs the agreement. Any mandatory protection applicable to you under the law remains preserved. If we cannot resolve a dispute together, it may be submitted to the court having jurisdiction under the applicable legal rules.
