Business terms and local choices together.

Use a company account for an agreement with a business customer and a market for countries, languages, currency and range. A German business customer may use both. Check the customer and market together, not just each setting separately.

Work with company accounts and price lists.

Link a company account to the appropriate price list. Use fixed variant prices or a percentage adjustment and check which products the buyer may see. Payment terms are a separate agreement, not automatic with every business price.

Define your offer for each market.

A market defines countries, languages, currency and assortment for a region. Set market prices and shipping coverage, and check translated content separately. Adding a language does not automatically translate product text.

How to set it up

Set up your customers

Start with one company account. Write down the products, prices and payment terms agreed with that customer. Use this list to check the setup and test the buying journey.

Set up pricing

Example: agree a fixed price for one mug variant. Check it as the business buyer on the product page and in the cart. Try another quantity or market too. The result should match the agreement; price lists, market prices and discounts can affect one another.

Create your markets

Start with one destination country. Choose its language and currency, add product translations and check any market prices. Use a delivery address in that country to confirm checkout offers a usable shipping rate and shows the intended currency.

Check the shopping journey

Complete a test order as the intended business buyer. Compare the product price, discount, tax display, shipping and currency with the saved order. Check the offered payment terms too. Go live only when the result is correct; market settings do not replace your tax obligations.

Market pricing down to each variant.

Enter a specific price for the variant and market in the market currency. Without an override, the calculated price follows the applicable pricing rules. Check linked price lists too; they can affect the final price.

Frequently asked questions

Can I give business customers their own prices?

Yes. Use company accounts and price lists to define business pricing. Check which products and variants each agreement covers.

Does Microcart support quotes and payment terms?

Yes, you can record quotes and payment terms. Paying on account requires a company account with deferred terms, an active invoice method and sufficient credit capacity. Check these settings; not every business buyer automatically gets credit terms.

Can a market have its own languages and currency?

Yes. Choose the market’s languages and currency and check translations. Conversion uses an available current exchange rate; if it is missing or stale, prices can appear in the base currency. Check both product pricing and checkout.

Can I set a market price for each variant?

Yes. Enter a price for each variant and market in product admin. Without a specific override, the calculated price applies.
